Maternity Photographer in Abu Dhabi

Hi, I’m Ewelina — a maternity photographer in Abu Dhabi and a mum myself, so I know how special (and how tiring!) these last weeks of pregnancy can feel. I photograph relaxed, natural maternity sessions at home, on the beach, in the park and in the golden dunes of the Al Khatim desert — just you, your bump and the people you love.

It’s a time of dreams, hopes, and a growing love that only intensifies as we count down the days to meet our little miracle.

Relaxed, Natural Maternity Photos

A maternity session with me is not about stiff poses or perfect smiles. I gently guide you with simple prompts — a hand on your bump, a slow walk with your partner, a quiet moment by the window — and capture the real emotions in between: the excitement, the anticipation and the love you already feel for your baby.

As a maternity photographer in Abu Dhabi, my goal is simple: photos that feel like you, and that you’ll treasure long after your little one has arrived.

Maternity Photos at Home, With Your Partner and Children

As a maternity photographer in Abu Dhabi without a studio, I always come to you. Your home is one of the most beautiful places for maternity photos — soft window light, your favourite corner, the nursery you’ve been preparing. In the last weeks of pregnancy it’s also the most comfortable choice: no travel, no heat and as many breaks as you need.

Many mums love including their partner, older children or even the family pet, so we can create a few family frames before the new baby arrives. After the birth, I also offer Fresh 48 hospital sessions and in-home newborn sessions.

Maternity Photoshoot Locations in Abu Dhabi

As a maternity photographer in Abu Dhabi, I know the most beautiful spots for every season. From October to April, Abu Dhabi has some of the most beautiful light for maternity photos. These are the places mums love most:

  • Al Khatim desert — golden dunes, flowing dresses and soft sunset light, about 45–60 minutes’ drive from the city. Read more about my desert maternity sessions.
  • Reem Island beach — calm water, soft evening light and the city skyline behind you.
  • Saadiyat Beach — white sand and gentle waves, beautiful for long, floaty dresses.
  • Wahat Al Karama — a calm reflecting pool with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque glowing behind you at sunset.
  • Jubail Mangrove Park — wooden boardwalks and natural greenery, calm and private.
  • Your home — soft window light and the place where your baby will soon be.

Not sure which place suits you? Tell me what you love, and I’ll suggest the best spot for your style and the season.

How Your Maternity Session Works

  1. Get in touch — send me a message with your due date, your preferred dates and any location ideas. Not sure yet? Tell me a little about yourself and what you’d love to remember from this time, and we’ll plan it together.
  2. Plan together — I help you choose the best location and time of day, whether that’s your living room, Reem Island beach or the desert at golden hour. I also point you to my guides on what to wear, so on the day you can simply relax.
  3. Your session — about one hour at a gentle, unhurried pace. I guide you the whole time with easy prompts, and we take breaks whenever you need to sit down, drink some water or simply breathe.
  4. Your gallery — within two weeks you receive a private online gallery of fully edited photos, ready to download, print and share. Soft, honest and timeless images of this chapter before it passes.

Thank you so much, Ewelina, for our maternity shoot! You don’t come across a photographer every day who truly makes you feel comfortable during a session and brings out the best in you. You went above and beyond to ensure our vision board came to life, and the photos turned out absolutely amazing.

When to Book Your Maternity Photoshoot

Most mums choose their maternity session between 30 and 34 weeks — late enough for a beautifully rounded bump, and early enough to still move comfortably. I recommend booking your date in the second trimester, especially for an outdoor session: from October to April golden-hour evenings fill up quickly. From May to September, I photograph maternity sessions at home or very early in the morning. If you’re looking for a maternity photographer in Abu Dhabi, it’s best to get in touch as soon as you know your due date.

What to Wear for Your Maternity Photos

Flowing fabrics, soft neutrals and pieces that let your bump take centre stage photograph beautifully — think long dresses in cream, beige, white or sage. On the beach and in the desert, light dresses that move in the wind look stunning; at home, a soft knit or a simple shirt dress works just as well. For more outfit ideas and colour palettes, read my guide What to wear for your photoshoot.
